I thoroughly enjoyed my time as an honors college student at Hampton University. Dr. Fry Brown and the other honors directors did an amazing job opening my mind and pushing me to think beyond what was in front of me. I looked forward to our book discussion every year and our family reunions. It was amazing to hear from and see excellence from young adults that looked like me all across our HBCUs. I was even able to bond with a few students and kept in contact over social media. I would highly recommend actively participating in this collective.
